GENERAL: I default to assuming characters are taking a "good" route through the game unless otherwise specified in your character's info. So, yes, I'm actively assuming Raphael is not getting what he wants. CANON POINT: I'm pretty agnostic about canon point, considering that Raphael is relatively "passive" as an NPC. Just let me know what you're feeling and I'm happy to roll with it. SHIPPING: Short answer: yes! Long answer: As per the incubus in the House of Hope: "Raphael loves only Raphael." In other words, it'll take some elbow grease, but I generally see him as being a bit vulnerable to adventurer-types given that he is canonically quite fascinated with the player character. That said, I don't think "I can fix him" is an arc that's ever going to happen; any romantic relationship will have to settle with the fact that their new bf kind of sucks. But I am fond of the dynamic of blowhard plus lady who can absolutely knock him on his ass or some kind of corruption angle (ZelGan my beloved ...) so, you know, get at me. tl;dr, I'm down to figure something out because I'm shipper trash, but let's talk it through first, as Raphael is an extreme narcissist and also difficult to get to take other people seriously. There's also the fact that he is not good in bed but we can cross that bridge when we get to it. 😌 CROSSCANON: Yes please! Happy to mess around with characters/settings from any other fantasy or fantasy-adjacent properties, and just as willing to figure out how to AU Raphael into non-fantasy settings.  IN CHARACTER: PHYSICAL CONTACT: From strangers, he'll likely take your hand for it, but for people he knows ... he might still take that hand, but who knows. FIGHTING: Fine by me, but be warned, he's more dangerous than he looks. TELEPATHY/PSYCHIC ABILITIES: You can try to get into his head but he will definitely not take kindly to it. FLIRTING: Absolutely. INJURIES/DEATH: With some prior discussion. |
